Privacy policy

Draft - this document describes how Motion works today and is pending legal review. It will be finalized before general availability.

Motion is built on a simple stance: your creative work is yours. This policy explains what we collect to run your studio, how it's protected, and the promise that nothing you make trains a public model.

01What we collect

We collect only what running your studio requires:

  • Account data - email address, display name, and (if you enable it) multi-factor settings; Google sign-in shares your email and name with us.
  • Creative content - the prompts, canvases, images, video, and audio you create or upload, stored privately under your account.
  • Billing data - handled by our payment processor; we never see or store full card numbers.
  • Usage data - basic logs (feature usage, errors) needed to keep the service reliable.

02How we use it

Your data operates your studio: rendering generations you request, keeping your Production Bible, and billing your plan. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your creative work for advertising.

03Your work never trains public models

This is Motion's standing engineering principle. When you run a generation, your prompt and reference material are sent to the AI model provider you selected - solely to produce your output. We route work only through provider agreements that do not retain or train on your content, and our architecture supports running models entirely inside a customer's own boundary for sensitive work.

04Where your data lives

Content is stored per account with strict isolation - every file and database row belongs to a single user, and access is checked on every request. Media is served only to its owner. Transport is encrypted (HTTPS).

05Retention and deletion

Your content stays until you delete it or close your account. Deleting a project or asset removes it from active storage; account deletion removes your content within a commercially reasonable window, minus what payment or legal records require us to keep.

06Cookies

We use the minimum needed to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (like theme). No third-party advertising trackers.

07Children

Motion is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. School and classroom deployments are governed by separate enterprise agreements with the institution.

08Changes and contact

We'll post any material change to this policy here and update the date above. Questions or requests about your data: vamshinr5899@gmail.com.
